Alive, Living & Hope Series was made prior to the artist's fibroid operation and became a symbol for the fibroids and to ‘ward off evil’ as the covid virus was spreading across the globe. Decay, Diseased & Dying Series was made post fibroid operation where the fibroids were dying inside her body and she was processing a family bereavement. 

 

Collectively works position the body within nature, reflecting the natural cycles of life and death and medical conditions (fibroids and covid) being nature's design / anomaly.
