Shadow of Other is a 3 year life immersion project, documenting the intimate relationship of the artist, with her transsexual lover. As an intense exploration of gender and gender roles and sexuality. As a series of conscious and unconscious live performative works outside the traditional art context,

The name drives its name from the Jungian principals of sex as a driver for personality, individuality, diversity, desire and subconscious. ‘Playing in the shadows’ is also BDSM terminology for sexual activity and role play where the subconscious is brought into the conscious.

The work currently remains largely as a research piece.
